Catholic Mental Health Gathering- May 18

In recent times, our nation has witnessed a concerning rise in mental health challenges, affecting individuals and families across communities. As faithful stewards of Christ’s love and compassion, it is incumbent upon us to respond with empathy and support to those facing these difficulties.

In light of this, I am writing to extend a heartfelt invitation to you, especially to our parish staff members and ministry leaders, to join us for the Catholic Mental Health Gathering. This gathering, scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at Holy Family Parish in Orlando, presents a unique opportunity for us to come together in solidarity and explore how we can better address mental health challenges within our parish communities. Your presence and active participation are essential in fostering a culture of compassion, understanding, and support within our parishes.

I implore you to prioritize your attendance at this gathering and to encourage others within your parish community to join us as well.

Together, let us embrace this opportunity to grow in compassion, deepen our pastoral approach, and renew our commitment to serving those entrusted to our care.

May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen us as we journey together in faith and service.

With every prayerful blessing,

Most Reverend John Noonan
