ORLANDO | The 2025 Caravana Guadalupana once again brought vibrant faith, unity, and Marian devotion to Central Florida as more than 100 vehicles participated in the beloved diocesan pilgrimage honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas.
Cars left 10 parishes Dec. 7, 2025, decorated with images and statues of Our Lady, others laden with Mexican flags, green, yellow and red garland and even an Our Lady of Guadalupe blanket. Parishioners from Holy Cross, Blessed Trinity, St. Isaac Jogues, St. James Cathedral, St. John Vianney and Good Shepherd in Orlando, St. Thomas Aquinas in St. Cloud, St. Francis of Assisi in Apopka, St. Catherine of Siena and Holy Redeemer in Kissimmee all left their parishes in joyful pilgrimage as they drove to host parish, St. John Vianney.
Parishioners were joined by matachines, who offered their traditional dance as prayer and praise. Once at the altar, the vehicles in the caravan passed through, receiving a blessing as they drove by the Blessed Sacrament, extending the grace of the moment to all who had journeyed in devotion.
Along the route, participants prayed the Rosary and shared expressions of faith, transforming roads into pathways of witness and devotion.
Holy Redeemer Parish boasted 32 highly ornamented vehicles, the most from one church.
Despite the pouring rain, the show of faith in this early celebration of the feast day, which is Dec. 12, proved a hope glaring through dark clouds and rain. The Caravana Guadalupana continues to grow not only in size, but in spiritual richness, drawing communities together and deepening devotion to Mary as she leads the faithful ever closer to her Son.
