Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth,  who have observed his law; seek justice, seek humility  . . .” Zep 2:3

Dear Parents, Guardians, Faculty, Staff, and Students:

Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as we begin Catholic Schools Week!  I offer my gratitude to you who bring Jesus the Eucharist to God’s people.  When I recall my visits to our Catholic elementary and high schools, I praise God for the gift of His people who observe His law of love, seeking justice and living humbly.

This is a week of remembrance for all of us who have been given or are receiving a Catholic education.  We prayerfully reflect upon our faith journey – how we have come to know God.  We acknowledge God’s call and strive to live in His perfection, offering the excellence of His love to one another.  As we receive the Eucharist, we seek to be God’s goodness on this earth, living to benefit our brothers and sisters, that with them and for them we may build an earthly city, pleasing to God.

May God bless all our works that they bring forth His wisdom and are the touch of His love.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Most Reverend John Noonan

Bishop of Orlando
